Duane Bray is Groopit's Chief Product Officer, based in New York. He is passionate about workplace innovation, helping leaders solve complex challenges in today's environment, and how to align business needs with talent capabilities.

Duane brings both a user experience and leadership strategy capability to the role. He joined Groopit in January 2023 after a 27-year career at the design and innovation firm IDEO, where he was a partner, serving in roles that included the head of their digital capability to their Chief People Officer. His portfolio of work includes consumer software, mobile and online applications, and organizational strategy.

With a background in communication design and interaction design, Duane has led or contributed to scores of projects, from digital products and services to organizational strategies. His clients include American Express, BMW, Microsoft, Lincoln Center, and United Airlines, among many others.

And as IDEO's Chief People Officer, his work covered the spectrum from attracting talent to building cultures of learning to establishing best practices around benefits and policies. His work was both inwardly and outwardly focused, balancing IDEO's talent strategy with advisement and consulting for clients.

Prior to IDEO, Duane worked at Pentagram Design, where he established an interaction design practice in their San Francisco studio. Duane holds an MFA from the University of Florida and was recently awarded an Outstanding Achievement Award as a prestigious alumnus.

Duane brings a wealth of experience and expertise in #HR and #Design. He will be a tremendous asset to HR Geckos as we further our mission to make HR services accessible at the click of a button so that people and organizations can thrive. We warmly welcome Duane Bray to our board.
